People who go to Thailand etc
Do you fucking realise that when you pay money at those places to pet tigers, they are poorly treated drugged up animals with barely any space or entertainment, who were also probably captured from the wild or separated from their mother. You are paying for the mistreatment of a beautiful animal that is on the very slippery slope to being extinct. You are funding those places to stay open instead of allowing tigers to roam free in the wild and have cubs, which is crucial right now. Of course I can understand that its awesome to get a chance to pet a real tiger, but surely common sense tells you that if you can get that close to a tiger without it doing a thing, this tiger is not okay. I don’t fucking get it.
